Original post, Oct. 10, 3:35 p.m.: Saskatchewan RCMP advised Oct. 10 there is an increased police presence in a rural area near Ile-a-la-Crosse.
Officers from Ile-a-la-Crosse RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services are searching for a man who fled from them on foot earlier in the day.
The suspect is described as approximately 6'1" and 250 lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie and black shoes. If you see him, do not approach him. Contact police immediately by dialling 310-RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
