Next Gen Agriculture program accepting applications

The Next Gen program is designed for individuals wanting to create a deeper understanding of agriculture, business, community, leadership and advocacy for the industry.

REGINA — Applications are now open for the Next Gen Agriculture Mentorship Program’s Cohort 6, sponsored by Canadian Western Agribition, along with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture and the Government of Canada.

From Oct. 1, 2024, through March 2026, mentees will participate in governance training, networking, and training events at Canadian Western Agribition, as well as many events and conferences.


The Next Gen program is designed for individuals wanting to create a deeper understanding of agriculture, business, community, leadership and advocacy for the industry.


Mentees will be expected to actively initiate and schedule interaction with their mentors and seek out training opportunities that will build their competencies in their desired areas.


Applications close Aug. 11. Applicants must be a Saskatchewan residents.
