NORTH BATTLEFORD - Two youths have been arrested after a reported break and enter in North Battleford.
On Feb. 15 at approximately 4:30 a.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a break and enter at a home on 108th Street in North Battleford.
Officers responded immediately and spoke with the occupants, who reported two individuals had kicked in the door. The investigation determined one of the residents had been assaulted and had a firearm pointed at them. EMS attended to the victim at the residence. No serious injuries were reported to police.
At approximately 5:15 a.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report that individuals had brought firearms into a residence. Officers responded immediately and located and arrested the suspects at the residence on 110th Street in North Battleford.
As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old male youth, from North Battleford, is charged with:
- one count, pointing a firearm;
- one count, breaking and entering; and
- one count, assault with weapon.
The male youth appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on Feb. 18 and the female youth will appear on April 10.
