New Battlefords Treatment Centre to host Jan. 25 job fair

The fair is looking to attract over a dozen different positions within the new treatment centre.

THE BATTLEFORDS — Poundmaker's Lodge Treatment Centre is opening a new centre in North Battleford, at the site of the former Drumming Hill Youth Centre and on Jan. 25 they will be hosting a job fair at Gold Eagle Lodge to fill positions at the new centre.

People are asked to bring their resume, criminal background and vulnerable sector checks with them and join them for an onsite interview.

They're currently seeking positions that include, 

  • Operational Director,
  • Intake Coordinator,
  • Accounting/Payroll,
  • Counsellors,
  • Administration/Reception, 
  • Cooks, 
  • Kitchen Leads,
  • LPN,
  • Healthcare Aid,
  • Janitorial, 
  • Cultural Elder, 
  • and Cultural Helper.

The job fair starts at 8:30 a.m. followed by a meet and greet from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A PowerPoint presentation runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a Q&A from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 

After a break from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., another meet and greet will be held from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by another PowerPoint presentation from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. The day will finish with a final Q&A session from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
