Police ask for public's help following break-in, theft at church

Investigation determined the church was rummaged through, and a safe and a sum of cash were stolen.

FRENCHMAN BUTTE - Turtleford RCMP are asking for the public's help following a break-in and theft at a church.

On Sept. 5 at approximately 12:25 p.m., Turtleford RCMP received a report of a break-in at a church in Frenchman Butte.

Investigation determined unknown individual(s) broke into the church sometime between 10 p.m. and midnight on Sept. 4. The door to the church was damaged due to forced entry. Further investigation determined the church was rummaged through, and a safe and a sum of cash were stolen.

Turtleford RCMP continue to investigate.
