Sask Party incumbent Jeremy Harrison picks up win in Meadow Lake

Harrison took home the most votes in the 35 voting stations, coming in with a total of 4,010 votes in the unofficial results.

MEADOW LAKE - It was another big win for Saskatchewan Party incumbent candidate Jeremy Harrison in Monday's provincial election.

Harrison took home the most votes in the 35 voting stations, coming in with a total of 4,010 votes in the unofficial results.

He was followed by the NDP's Miles Nachbaur with 2,010 votes. The Saskatchewan United Party's Denis Allchurch picked up 296 votes, while the Green Party's Candice Turner garnered 101.

The final official results and mail in ballots are still be confirmed in the next 12 days following election day.

This is Harrison's fifth straight win running for the MLA seat in Meadow Lake.

 “I am deeply humbled to be elected as the representative for the Meadow Lake constituency," he said in a statement. "Representing my home community in the Legislature has been the great honour of my life.

 "As always, I remain committed to addressing the issues that matter most to my constituents, from improving local services to fostering economic growth," Harrison added. "I’d like to thank my team, volunteers, and constituents for their continued trust and support."
