The Bjorkdale Public Library kicked off the new year with a fun day at the library.

On Jan. 2 children aged 5-13 spent the morning with Lego challenges. They will continue the fun of Lego building during the month of January. Students are asked to bring your Lego creation (either your own design or from a kit) to the library to display by Jan. 16. Include your number and the number of pieces for your design.

From Jan. 18 - 25, vote for your favourite Lego creation. The winners will be announced January 30th. Everyone is welcome to enter. Adults are strongly encouraged to submit their Lego projects too.

Bjorkdale has a book club that meets monthly and their next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan.16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Public Library.

The Bjorkdale Curling Club also scheduled all of their Bonspiels for the season. They will be hosting a Farmers on Jan. 19 and 20. Contact Vern or Marty to register. Everyone is welcome.
