BJORKDALE — Grandchild of Donna and Glen Clarke and daughter of Patrick and Lauren Clarke, Davi beat out the Prince Albert fastpitch team to win their way with the SK1 Melfort Spirit team to play in the 2022 Under 15 Girls Fastpitch Championship in Saskatoon from Aug. 3 – 7th.

This was the first time that Melfort won an A division provincial title. Twenty-one teams competed from across the country to win gold. The team played games against Ontario 2 (lost 13-5), Saskatchewan 3 (won 11-1), Quebec (won 3-2), Newfoundland (won 5-4), BC (lost 5-0) and Manitoba 1 (won 13-4). Their record after round robin was 4-2 and ended up placing 10th overall. They then played Manitoba’s provincial champions in the playoff round but unfortunately lost out.

Davi pitches and plays shortstop and played her heart out. The Clarkes should be very proud of their grandchild, Davi and all her hard work.
