HUMBOLDT - There will be six elections in the Horizon School district for the board of trustees.
The Horizon School division 2024 Board elections will see elections in six subdivisions. These are:
Subdivision 2: Linda Mattock, incumbent and Patricia Lung for Annaheim, Humboldt, Lake Lenore, Middle Lake, and St. Brieux
Subdivision 3: Jennifer Lemky, incumbent and Jenna Hale for Nokomis, Viscount, and Watrous
Subdivision 4: Mark Fedak, incumbent and Christian Mau for Drake, Englefeld, Lanigan, Muenster, and Watson
Subdivision 6: Christine Gradin, incumbent and Mary Ann Jones for Quill Lake and Wadena
Subdivision 7: James Lissinna, incumbent and Sarah Sunderland for Archerwill, Kelvington, and Rose Valley
Subdivision 9: Murray Proznick, incumbent and Cheryl Norleen for Punnichy and Raymore

Of the 14 subdivisions, eight subdivisions will have board members elected by acclamation, meaning no other candidates ran against them. These subdivisions are:

Subdivision No. 5 - Dana Stefanson - LeRoy/Wynyard
Subdivision No. 8 - Melanie Craswell - Imperial/Holdfast/Bulyea/Strasbourg
Subdivision No. 10 - Garth Anderson - Ituna/Foam Lake
Subdivision No. 11 - Irma Anderson - George Gordon First Nation
Subdivision No. 12 - Benny Paul Crow - Buffalo Day Star First Nation
Subdivision No. 13 - Albert Pinacie - Muskowekwan First Nation
Subdivision No. 14 - Rhonda Kayseas - Fishing Lake First Nation
