HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt and District Museum is hosting a fundraising barbeque with live music

The event takes place Thursday, July 20 from 11:30 a.m. to  1 p.m. beside the museum on 602 Main Street.

Funds raised will help to preserve local heritage by buying a burger and enjoying a performance by Yana Judina-Jeewon from noon to 1 p.m. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs as there is limited seating available. All proceeds from this event will support the Humboldt and District Museum’s work in the community.

The musical performance is brought to you by the Humboldt Area Arts Council. This event is the second in a four-part summer series of fundraising barbecues and local performances brought to you by the Humboldt Downtown BID with sponsorship from Nutrien. Mark your calendars for the next barbeque, which will be Wednesday, August 16 as part of the Street Fest Evening Market, featuring performances by Horse’s Mouth and Brian Grest and Walter Bushman. Proceeds from this BBQ will go to the HCI Humboldt Travel Club.
