HUMBOLDT – Humboldt city council approved Ruszkowski Enterprises Inc. for the 2025 paving contract at a price of $477,338.
The City of Humboldt plans to pave:
• Sixth Avenue – From Fifth Street to Sixth Street;
• Seventh Avenue – From Second Street to Third Street;
• Ninth Avenue – From 17th Street to the lane east of Barnes Crescent;
• Pavement patching program – Various locations.
The City of Humboldt received seven bids in total. The lowest bidder was Ruszkowski Enterprises Ltd. at a cost of $477,338.70 plus taxes.
Peter Bergquist, public works and utilities director, said in his report that the 2025 road paving budget is approximately $194,120 under budget. Unanticipated on-site changes may consume a portion of this value.
