Northeast School Division will see school board elections

Two subdivisions out of seven will see candidates acclaimed.

Many in the northeast will be going to the polls for their school board trustee on Nov. 13.

NORTHEAST – There will be five elections in the North East School District for the board of trustees. 

In subdivision 1, Hudson Bay candidates are incumbent Kathrene Bank and Elizabeth Van Nes. Town of Nipawin candidates are Marla Walton, incumbent, and Logan Campbell. 

In Subdivision 2, Arborfield, Carrot River and area, candidates are Sherri Hanson, incumbent, and Ken Teichroeb.

In Subdivision 3, Choiceland, White Fox and area, Jason Ens will be elected by acclamation. 

In Subdivision 4, Melfort and area, candidates are Tim Hoenmans and Christina Prybylski 

In Subdivision 5, Naicam, Star City and area, Ryan Pederson will be elected by acclamation.  

In Subdivision 6, Tisdale and area, candidates are current chair, Lori Kidney, and Lindsey Ernst.

In Subdivision 7, Bjorkdale, Porcupine Plain and area, candidates are Mark van Haastert and George Schroepfer.
