MELFORT - The City of Melfort will see Saskatchewan Drive closed due to a paving rehabilitation project

Paving rehabilitation work has started on Saskatchewan Drive South between the railway tracks and Stonegate Boulevard. The City of Melfort said this work will be completed in phases where two lanes of traffic will be maintained through the area while construction crews work in the opposite lanes.

The city is advising that access to different intersections and adjacent parking lots will be affected, depending on the phase of the work. Special provisions will be made to maintain at least one access and exit point to the Stonegate Shopping Centre businesses during each construction stage.

The City of Melfort is strongly encouraging everyone to stay clear of the work zone for your safety and the safety of the workers and to please obey all construction signage around the work zone and drive with care.

If you have any questions about this work or any other ongoing projects, visit the website here.
