Prince Albert – The federal election will be held on April 28 and the Prince Albert riding has three candidates on the ballot:
· Christopher Hadubiak – Liberal Party
· Randy Hoback – Conservative Party (incumbent)
· Virginia Kutzan – New Democratic Party
Incumbent MP Randy Hoback will represent the Conservatives in his sixth straight election campaign. Hoback was first elected in 2008, and was re-elected in 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2021.
Christopher Hadubiak is representing the Liberals and Virginia Kutzan, is representing the NDP. Both are first time candidates for their respective parties.
Hadubiak is a swimming coach and mentor who has worked with the Regina Piranha’s Summer Swim Club. In 2021, he was a volunteer with a local Liberal campaign to manage their social media and online communications strategy during the federal election that year.
Kutzan is a former nurse. She served the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses since it was founded in 1974 and was the first woman on the Workers’ Compensation Act Committee of Review.
In the last federal election, the Green Party, Peoples Party of Canada (PPC) and the Maverick Party all had candidates running. None of these parties have candidates for the 2025 federal election on April 28.
