Auctioning select gentlemen from the community to act as servers to successful bidders is part of the fun at ladies' night.

Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation's Festival of Trees is fast approaching, with festivities from Thursday, Nov. 25, to Saturday, Nov. 27 at Gold Ridge Centre.

A Pajama Party - "All I need to know about life I learned from my girlfriends" is the theme for 2010 Festival of Trees Ladies' Night. Plan to attend this event Thursday, Nov. 25th, offering a night out with girlfriends. Guest will have first opportunity to view and bid on decorated items, take in the live entertainment and enjoy the wonderful food prepared for this evening. To add to the fun, please feel free to attend in your favourite nightwear.

Over the years, ladies' night has grown to be a popular event. This year doors open at 5 p.m. and wine tasting will commence at 5:30 p.m. Entertainment is a unique circus theatre, Firefly Theatre. This group of entertainers are physical, visually stunning and full of magic and heart - and the interactive activities will be sure to amuse.

Fundraising during the evening will be supported through live and silent auctions, as well as raffle prizes. There will be many opportunities to take home that "special" something. A live auction will provide an opportunity to bid on a few select gentlemen from the community to be "servers" for the evening. There won't be one for every table so be sure to get your bid in. Co-chairs of ladies' night, Dana Rissling and Molly Pederson, say they are excited about the gift bags they have acquired for each lady in attendance, an extra bonus for a night out with the girls.

Proceeds from BUH Foundation's Festival of Trees have been allocated to purchase a fetal monitor and doppler for BUH's Women's Health & Birthing Centre. These essential pieces of equipment will ensure the health of both mother and baby during the birthing process.

Please call the foundation office at 446-6652 to reserve a table, and begin the Christmas season with your girlfriends at "A Pajama Party."
