Park visitors are invited to harvest a tree from the Waskesiu Community Fuel Break.

PRINCE ALBERT NATIONAL PARK ‑ Start a new or continue a family tradition while protecting Waskesiu from potential wildfires. Bring a handsaw, sled and a thermos of hot chocolate to keep you warm while you search for the perfect Christmas tree.

Christmas Tree Harvest permits are available free of charge from the visitor centre where park passes can also be purchased. A valid park pass is required to access the park at all times of the year.

The health and safety of visitors, employees and all Canadians is of the utmost importance to Parks Canada. The Christmas Tree Harvest is a family-friendly, outdoor recreational activity where physical distancing can be maintained and enjoyed by household groups.
