Members gather for annual meeting

Cribbage is one of the activities that has continued at the Drop In Centre.

MAIDSTONE ‑ An annual meeting of the Maidstone Drop In Centre was held Nov. 9 with Denise Newton as chairperson and Noelle Coulthard as secretary. Treasurer Gloria McConnel distributed a financial report.

The centre has been used during the past year as a COVID-19 vaccination clinic, so has not been available for social events other than members who play cribbage in an isolated areas on Mondays.

A monthly meeting followed with informal discussions on matters concerning the security of the building.

There is a change of meeting date for the coming year from the second Friday to the third Friday of each month.

The next meeting will be April 11.
