North Battleford RCMP say they are investigating a complaint of assault involving a group of several youth.
According to police, the incident was reported shortly after 8 p.m. on Oct. 2, when a 17-year-old female was transported to the North Battleford RCMP detachment by her mother.
The female had injuries to her face and head area consistent with an assault.
Police also say the victim was intoxicated, and the victim and witnessrefused to cooperate with any investigation.
The incident is believed to have occurred around the area of 8th Avenue and 110th Street.
Police say extensive patrols of the area at the time of the incident were negative, and the investigation is ongoing.
