A 65-year-old Big Island First Nation man was reported missing early Wednesday Morning.
Pierceland RCMP say Raymond Sandfly was last seen at approximately 10 a.m. Tuesday in theBig Island LakeFirst Nation Band Office.
He is believed to be travelling on foot and may be hitchhiking, according to police.
The community of Big Island Lake First Nation and Pierceland RCMP have conducted extensive patrols in the area and have not located Sandfly. The investigation is not suspicious in nature, but this behaviour is out of character for Sandfly.
Further patrols of the area will be made by RCMP in the daylight hours.
Sandfly is5'9" tall,medium build, 210 pounds and has shoulder length greyhair, brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a brown jacket.
