Attempted break and enter at Medstead Hometown Grocery

The suspect wore a blaze orange coat and hat with camouflage pants

MEDSTEAD — RCMP are seeking public assistance in their investigation of a break and enter at Medstead Hometown Grocery.

On Jan 16, 2022 Glaslyn RCMP received a complaint of suspicious persons in the village of Medstead attempting to enter the grocery store by using a pry bar. The suspect was not successful at entering the building.

The suspect, wearing a blaze orange coat and hat with camouflage pants, was the lone occupant who had exited a white Dodge between 2003-2008 model pickup with aftermarket black rims and winged decaling to driver's doors and rear fenders. The licence plate is unknown.

Police continue to investigate this occurrence..
