WPD Ambulance paramedics reported an unusual occurrence in one of their vehicles while transporting an expectant mother to the hospital.
According to WPD, paramedics responded to an highway intercept on highway 40 approximately 10 km west of the Battlefords Sunday at 4:53 a.m.
The paramedic arrived and found a lady in active labor. Enroute to Battlefords Union Hospital a baby boy was born.
Both Mom and baby were admitted to Battlefords Union Hospital where they are reported in good health.
