A total fire ban is in force in the Town of Battleford from April 28, 2021 until further notice. Declared by the Battleford Fire Chief Larry Gabruch, this follows the declaration of a total fire ban in RM of Battle River for the same period due to hot and dry conditions. In the interests of public safety, maintenance or use of any fire or class of fire in the open air is prohibited, and all fire permits are suspended during this period.
