Southbound traffic approaching the Town of Battleford from the North Saskatchewan River Bridge on Highway 4 will be diverted to a U-turn on Highway 16, west of town Wednesday, weather permitting. The eastbound Highway 16 off ramp will be used to enter the Town of Battleford. There will be flag people on location. This detour is expected to last the entire day with the lane opening to normal traffic flow before dark. Town officials are asking all motorists to obey the flag people and signs.
