It has been a busy several days for emergency personnel in the city as they battled a number of fire incidents.

Dec. 21 North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services responded to a vehicle fire that caused several thousand dollars of damage to a vehicle at 10003 - Thatcher Ave.

One pumper and four personnel were on the scene for about 17 minutes. Also on the scene were RCMP and WPD Ambulance. There were no injuries but the vehicle has been deemed a total write off.

Dec. 22, fire crews responded to ringing alarms at Harwood Manor on the 1200 block of 102nd Street and then again Dec. 23. Both incidents were determined to be detector malfunctions.

Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of 19th Avenue and 100th Street around 3:21 p.m. Dec 23.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash. Drivers were checked over at the scene and determined to be OK, however the vehicles sustained substantial damage. On scene were NBFES, RCMP and WPD Ambulance.

Also on Dec. 23 at around 4:25 p.m., NBFES responded to a garage fire around the 1800 block of 101st Street. Crews found a small fire burning at the rear interior wall of the garage. The fire was extinguished within about 25 minutes, however the garage did sustain moderate fire and smoke damage.

Just past midnight Dec. 24, NBFES, WPD and the RCMP responded to a medical assist at the 1100 block of 99th Street. Fortunately the female occupant was all right.
