A request to waive monthly rent at Cameron McIntosh Airport by Canadian Air Search and Rescue Association will likely see a decision in the new year.
Council is directing a resolution be prepared for a vote in January on the organization's request to waive the organization's monthly rent.
At Monday's council meeting, council received a report from Parks and Recreation Director Keith Anderson, who outlined the organizations who are provided rent-free space at city facilities. He noted all organizations pay monthly rent or make monthly lease payments with the exception of the Battlefords United Way.
