HUMBOLDT — The City of Humboldt is asking for residents' help as they start clearing residential streets from the results of the blizzard.

On Thursday, Feb. 3, the city is asking those living to the north of Highway 5 to move their vehicles off the streets and delay putting their bin on the street until the next morning.

On Friday, Feb. 4, those living to the south of Highway 5 are asked move their vehicles off the streets and remove their waste bins from the streets.

"For efficiency and fluidity we are requesting community members/neighbours please assist in these residential areas," the city said on its Facebook page. "These simple acts will help out with our snow clearing efforts and minimize the piles or ridges left in the neighbourhood."

Priority 1 streets are purple, Priority 2 are yellow, Priority 3 are green and roads dealt with by Saskatchewan Highways are blue.
