NORTH BATTLEFORD - The City of North Battleford’s annual fall compost collection program will take place Monday, Oct. 18 until Monday, Oct. 25.
This is an opportunity to dispose of an unlimited number of bags of leaves and grass clippings free of charge. Please read all of the instructions below for information on how to participate.
What sort of waste does the city accept?
The annual fall compost collection accepts leaves, garden waste and grass clippings only. Twigs larger than a straw and regular household garbage including kitchen compost are not accepted.
When can I participate?
The City will pick up yard waste during the weekly “No Parking” restriction unless your street’s parking restriction is from 3 to 7.a.m. For people in the early morning zones, the city will pick up yard waste on Monday, Oct. 25 before noon.

How do I participate?
Place your yard waste in either translucent plastic bags or paper lawn leaf bags adjacent to the street by 8 a.m. Do not place bags on the sidewalk or on the street. Any waste packed in non-translucent bags will not be accepted.
