City transit can get you to the powwow

Bus service to Whitecap Powwow this weekend.

Whitecap Powwow at SaskTel Centre begins Friday and continues through to Sunday evening.

SASKATOON — Direct service from the Special Events Stop (23rd Street and 2nd Avenue) to see the Whitecap Powwow at SaskTel Centre on Friday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m., is available at the following times:

  • 6:20 p.m.
  • 7 p.m.
  • 7:40 p.m.
  • 8:20 p.m.
  • 9 p.m.
  • 9:40 p.m.

Direct service to the Saturday, Sept. 14 powwow at noon is available at the following times:

  • 11:20 a.m.
  • noon
  • 12:40 p.m.
  • 2 p.m.
  • 2:40 p.m.
  • 3:20 p.m.
  • 6 p.m.
  • 6:40 p.m.
  • 7:20 p.m.
  • 10 p.m.
  • 10:40 p.m.
  • 11:20 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 15 powwow also begins at noon and service is available at the following times:

  • 11:20 a.m.
  • noon
  • 12:40 p.m.
  • 2 p.m.
  • 2:40 p.m.
  • 3:20 p.m.
  • 6 p.m.
  • 6:40 p.m.
  • 7:20 p.m.

Post-event drop-off is at the downtown terminal and regular fares apply ($3 per trip). Fare can be purchased on your mobile phone using either the TGo or transit app, transfers and passes are also accepted. Typically, buses arrive onsite 30 minutes before the end of the event.
