Battlefords and District Co-op has taken over ownership and operation of the former Viterra site at the North Battleford agricultural retail location.
"This purchase allows us to expand our product and service offerings," said Mike Nord, general manager of Battlefords and District Co-op.
We look forward to working with former Viterra customers to supply all their crop input needs while showing them the benefits of dealing with and being a member of our co-op."
According to a press release, former Viterra customers will be contacted about the changes.
As part of the transaction, five former Viterra employees will be joining the co-op's agricultural team.
FCL purchased a number of agricultural centres from Viterra during the summer and has recently been busy transferring these locations over to local co-ops.
