MEADOW LAKE – North West College has donated six computer systems to the Meadow Lake Outreach Ministries.

“Our IT department were in the process of updating our internal systems, and we had some lightly used computers that were no longer required,” said Eli Ahlquist, president and CEO of North West College. “What better way to support a local charity then by helping them to offset the cost of this investment.”

Outreach Ministries provides services such as the Door of Hope, Meadow Lake Food Bank, The Hope Center Apartments, Tiny Treasures Daycare, Supportive Apartment Family Education (SAFE) and the ThriftHOPEia Variety Store.

"One of the major goals I had for our organization this year was to get new desktop computers. We had been working with old computers since I started here in 2018,” said Natanis Bundschuh, director of Meadow Lake Outreach Ministries.

“I am amazed at how generous and thoughtful our community partners are towards us. When North West College found out we had a need they stepped up immediately to help us accomplish this goal all at once with their generous donation,” Bundschuh said.

This donation will benefit several of Meadow Lake Outreach Ministries departments, as some didn’t have a computer to work from. Bundschuh acknowledged “This will go a long way to help us be more organized and efficient at our jobs.”
