Humboldt's population is up from last year, according to numbers from the Ministry of Health.
The Covered Population 2011 report, published annually by the Ministry of Health, states that Humboldt has a total of 6,526 residents - 3,232 male and 3,294 female - which is up about nine per cent from 2010's total of 5,925.
The report is a count of all persons who held Saskatchewan health coverage on June 30.
It is not a census since it only counts persons who are registered for provincial health coverage and not every person who may have been a resident in Saskatchewan on June 30.
The numbers include every person, from babies under a year old, to those over 95 years of age.
The population of most municipalities in the Humboldt area went up in 2011.
