Time frames for completion of the Credit Union CUPlex components continue to come into sharper focus as construction continues.
City parks and recreation director Keith Anderson updated council on the timelines during his regular update on the CUPlex construction.
According to Anderson, substantial completion for the theatre component of the CUPlex is estimated to come around December 20, 2011. Substantial completion of the aquatic centre is estimated to be March 6, 2012.
Completion of the curling rink is estimated to be May 31, 2012, while completion of the field house is estimated for June, 2012.
City officials have just started to look ahead towards the grand opening ceremonies of the CUPlex, with officials looking at holding that ribbon-cutting sometime next spring.
