Professional clothes are needed as donations.

NORTH BATTLEFORD - Donations are being sought in the Battlefords and area for the Dress for Success campaign.

The campaign is described as helping to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women thrive in work and life.

People are encouraged to donate cash or professional women's attire to support the campaign. The drop-off location is Scotiabank at 1102 - 101st St., North Battleford.

There are some donation guidelines to follow. Dress for Success accepts nearly new, contemporary, ready-to-wear and seasonal career-appropriate women's professional attire. These include apparel in preferably solid neutral colours, career-appropriate shoes, undergarments including new hosiery, accessories such as handbags and jewelry, cosmetics and toiletries. The greatest need is for women sizes 0-2 and 14 and up, especially larger sizes.
