Duperron hearing moved to June

The dangerous offender hearing for Michael John Duperron has been pushed back. The hearing was meant to begin May 2, but the case has now been adjourned to June 6 to accommodate expert witnesses who planned to testify.

The hearing was meant to begin May 2, but the case has now been adjourned to June 6 to accommodate expert witnesses who planned to testify.

Duperron plead guilty to aggravated assault last year following an early-morning robbery and stabbing of a woman at the ATM of the Royal Bank on 101st Street Feb. 12, 2010. The Crown is asking for a "dangerous offender" designation for Duperron in advance of sentencing.
