TWIN LAKES — Due to extremely dry conditions, the Nipawin Fire Department has declared a fire ban in the Town of Nipawin and surrounding areas.
No open fires or fireworks will be allowed during the ban. Self-contained heating devices like barbeques can only be used for cooking and heating purposes.
The ban includes the Town of Nipawin, RM of Torch River, RM of Nipawin, Resort Village of Tobin Lake, Aylsham, Codette, Love, Smeaton, White Fox, Nipawin Regional Park and Wapiti Regional Park.
