Glaslyn RCMP looking for vehicle and fuel thieves who fled

If you locate the vehicle do not approach and contact your local detachment.

GLASLYN — A vehicle stolen from Medstead was used in a theft in Glaslyn and RCMP are looking for anyone in the public who has any information.

On Thursday, May 19, Glaslyn RCMP were advised of multiple break and enters occurring in the area. A 2008 Black GMC Sierra was stolen from a residence in Medstead during the early morning hours.

The vehicle then travelled to Glaslyn, where fuel was stolen from a local business.

The suspects then proceeded to a rural residence south of Glaslyn and a break and enter was attempted. When suspects learned there were people in the residence they fled south on Highway 4.

Members were able to locate the vehicle in the North Battleford area but suspects fled and were unable to be stopped.

Police continue to investigate this occurrence and are seeking the public's assistance. If you do locate the vehicle do not approach and contact your local detachment.
