THE BATTLEFORDS - Tickets are still on sale for the Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation $100,000 Cash Lottery, and a major deadline is coming up.
The purchase deadline for the "Sleepy Time" Previous Purchaser draw of $10,000 and "Counting Sheep" draws of five draws for $2,700 each is Friday, Oct.15, 2021, 6 p.m. The draws will be made the next Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, at 10 a.m.
There are 12,500 Lottery tickets being sold along with a maximum of 250,000 50/50 enhancements. Entering the $100,000 Cash Lottery puts you in the running for 34 draws, as well as the 50/50 enhancement draw, with the prize money for the 50/50 currently at $45,747.50.
Ticket prices are one for $50, three for $125 or five for $200 (200 sets available). Five packs are gone but you can still purchase six for $250.
A 50/50 enhancement can be added at $10 each or three for $25.
The final deadline for the "Sweet Lullaby" $100,000 Grand Prize and 27 "Wynken, Blynken & Nod" Consolation draws for $1,000 each is Friday, Nov 5th, 2021, 6:00pm, unless sold out earlier. Final draws will be Friday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m.
Money raised will go towards purchasing new anesthetic machines and technology for the operating room at BUH.
