Lloydminster RCMP are warning the public about a high risk sex offender.
According to police, they ask the public to be on the look out for 48-year-old Michael Sean Stanley of Edmonton, Alberta.
He is a high risk sex offender who was on electronic monitoring.On Thursday morning he had left Edmonton and came to Lloydminster and cut off his electronic monitoring bracelet.
The bracelet wasfound on the roof of a local business located in the 4300 block of 54 Avenue.
He has a long history of sexual offences and has taken kids from playgrounds in the past. He is currentlywantedfor breach of his court release conditions.
Stanley is described as MĂ©tis, 5'9", 190 lbs, black hair and brown eyes.RCMP say he may be driving a purple 1996Chevrolet Trail Blazer with a possible Alberta license plate BHD1954.
Police advise the public not to approach Stanley if located, as he has a violent disposition. If you locate him, please contactyour localRCMP orpolice service.
