MAIDSTONE - Update: RCMP say Ashley Desjarlais has been located safe and sound. The RCMP thank the public for their assistance in this matter.
Original post: Maidstone RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in locating Ashley Desjarlais who was reported missing from near Lloydminster.
At approximately 1:23 a.m. (Saskatchewan time) on Jan. 4, Maidstone RCMP received a report of a missing woman, 31-year-old Ashley Desjarlais of Meadow Lake.
Ashley Desjarlais was last seen at a residence just north of Lloydminster, Alta., at approximately 1:16 a.m. (Saskatchewan time).
The person who reported her missing indicated Ashley Desjarlais may have been the victim of an assault. As such, officers are working diligently to locate her to confirm her safety and get her medical attention if required.
Initial investigation indicates Ashley may be in the presence of an adult male. It is unknown where they are travelling to, but they may be driving in a dark large-sized SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango.
Ashley is described as being 4’11”, approximately 145 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a large tattoo on her throat. Police do not have a description of what she was last seen wearing.
