SASKATOON - A man was arrested after assaulting two police officers early Thursday morning in Saskatoon.
Shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 3, police were called to the 100 block of Middleton Crescent for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, officers identified a 19-year-old man believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant causing a disturbance within the home. The man refused to comply with police commands, and, when police attempted to arrest him, he assaulted two police officers.
As a result, the suspect has been charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer.
