Man facing several charges after allegedly swinging metal bar in Saskatoon business

No one was physically injured during the incident.

SASKATOON - A man is facing several charges after allegedly swinging a metal bar in a Saskatoon business.

At approximately 11 a.m. on Sept. 11, police were called to a business in the 100 block of Avenue P South.  It was reported that a man inside the store was swinging around a metal bar, striking items in the store and threatening a staff member. He then reportedly fled the scene. 

The male suspect was located in the area and arrested. No one was physically injured during the incident.

As a result, a 45-year-old Saskatoon man is charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and uttering threats.
