LA RONGE - A 25-year-old man has been charged after the death of Darris Sanderson from Pinehouse Lake.
On Sept. 16, at approximately 5 a.m., La Ronge RCMP received a report of a seriously injured 29-year-old male outside an apartment building on Bedford Drive in La Ronge. The male was transported to hospital and later died.
As a result of investigation, officers from Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes and the Warrant Enforcement Suppression Team (WEST) arrested an adult male in La Ronge, on Oct. 16. Tyrell Dumais of La Ronge is charged with one count, manslaughter. He was scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on Oct. 17.
