Katelyn Noble has been missing since August, 2007.

The most recent probe into Nobel's disappearance - she was last seen Aug. 17, 2007 near Radisson when she was 15 years old - was a search conducted at rural location in the Mayfair district in May by the RCMP Major Crime Historical Case Unit South in May.

Equipment to grade the area was provided by the RM of Meeting Lake and consent was obtained by the property owner in order to conduct the search on his land. The property owner is not a suspect of any kind in this investigation and has been extremely co-operative to investigators, according to an RCMP press release.

Also assisting in the investigation was forensic anthropologist, Dr. Ernie Walker, from the University of Saskatchewan and RCMP Forensic Identification Section.

Leona Noble, mother of Katelyn, came from Mission, B.C. and was present when the search took place. Providing support to Leona is Saskatchewan Child Find, an organization dedicated to locating missing children and supporting families during this difficult time.

Investigators did not locate Katelyn, however were back in the area for further searches in June.

Investigators are asking farmers in the Mayfair district to be vigilant when out in the fields and to report anything out of the ordinary, including found clothing or material, to the police.

Katelyn was last seen on a grid road heading south from the farm site where she was living. Katelyn went missing after a confrontation with her boyfriend and his business partner. Soon after Katelyn was reported missing, air and ground searches were completed at local and nearby farm sites and treed areas in the Radisson district.

Katelyn was initially from Mission, British Columbia before coming to Saskatchewan in the winter of 2006. She has had no contact with her family or friends since her disappearance, which is not typical behaviour according to her family.

Anyone with has information about Katelyn's disappearance or the circumstances involved around her disappearance, is urged to contact the RCMP Regina Historical Case Unit at 306-780-5582 or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), *8477 on SaskTel Mobility Network or submit a tip online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com Crime Stoppers is anonymous and does not subscribe to call display and calls are not traced or recorded.
