North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services sent personnel out on several calls over the weekend, but the incidents were all minor.
At 6 p.m. Sunday, three firefighters responded to a call at 1101 - 99th St. where an unattended pot on a stove caught fire. The fire was confined to the pot and no damage resulted.
Later Sunday, at about 9:30 p.m., three firefighters returned to the 99th Street house where smoke from a kitchen appliance had set off the fire alarm system.
Saturday, firefighters responded when a discarded couch in an alleyway behind 1202 - 113th St. was set on fire. Fire crews spent about seven minutes on the scene after being called out at about 6:30 a.m.
A two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of 16th Avenue and 103rd Street Thursday just after 5 p.m. There were no injuries, but neither vehicle was drivable.
