ARMLEY — The provincial highways ministry is asking motorists to be careful at the intersection of Highways 35 and 335 this weekend.
The memorial site at the northwest corner of the intersection is expected to be busy for the one-year anniversary of the Humboldt Broncos collision on April 6.
The ministry has laid geo-textile fabric to help prevent the site from becoming muddy and has installed reduced speed signage and message boards to remind the travelling public to slow down to 60 kilometres an hour due to the foot traffic and parked vehicles in the area.
The government said the Saskatchewan Highway Patrol and RCMP will have a heavier presence in the area throughout the weekend.
