Emergency crews had to deal with a couple of motor vehicle accidents on area highways Wednesday.
North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services reports that around 5:36 p.m. Wednesday a call came in about a collision 15 kilometres east of Maymont.
It involved a single vehicle and the occupants were treated by WPD Ambulance. The injuries were not serious. NBFES responded with one unit and two firefighters.
Around 7:50 p.m. another call came in about a collision 15 kilometres east of Denholm. This was another single vehicle collision, with the lone occupant removing himself from the vehicle before emergency crews arrived.
The occupant had been injured in the collision and was transported to hospital by WPD Ambulance with undetermined injuries. Also on the scene were NBFES and the RCMP.
