Dr. Dandugula begins practice in Health Holdings communities in June, members of the board were informed at a meeting May 14.

"We wish him a warm welcome into our community," a Health Holdings press release states.

A welcome event will be hosted and residents are invited to join the board in welcoming him.

A second physician is arriving in Saskatoon to complete the assessment program required by the College of Physicians and Surgeons. The board estimates Dr. Tshatshela will complete the process and will arrive in the community later this summer.

Dr. Sabir is providing locum services until June 15 and Dr. Richard is providing services until June 14 through the SMA locum program. Prairie North Health Region is also in the process of working through the immigration process of a physician to provide three-month locum services through the busy summer months.

Dr. Shoaib and his family will be leaving for Alberta with his last clinic day June 21.

"The board wishes to thank Dr. Shoaib for his many years of dedication to our community and wish him and his family all the best," the board states in a press release.

The next regular meeting will be June 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the RM of Mervin office in Turtleford.
