NORTH BATTLEFORD — The North Battleford Fire Department, along with other emergency responders, were on the scene of a structure fire on the 1500 block of 103rd Street in North Battleford Wednesday morning. By mid-afternoon, the street was reopened and a city-issued Voyent! alert had been cleared.
In a release issued in the afternoon., the City of North Battleford stated the fire department contained the structure fire to one residence, which has been deemed a total loss. No injuries occurred and no adjacent structures were impacted.
In its release, the City of North Battleford thanked first responders for their action and the general public for respecting requests of Community Safety Officers to remain clear of the area while NBFD was on scene.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
