14 people arrested, 36 charges laid following drug bust in Saskatoon

SASKATOON - The Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT) concluded a drug-trafficking investigation on Nov. 7, with the arrests of several people.

Fourteen people were arrested following a drug-related investigation in Saskatoon.

Members of the Tactical Support Unit (TSU) and Patrol assisted in executing two search warrants, one at a home in the 100 block of Avenue E South, and the other at a business in the 1400 block of 22nd Street West.

The following items were seized as part of the investigation: $2,313 CAD; 216.9 grams of methamphetamine; 56.5 grams of fentanyl; 1.6 grams of psilocybin; brass knuckles; three tasers; two prohibited sawed-off shotguns; 9-mm Carbine rifle; two pistols; four cans of bear spray; numerous edged-weapons; one air-powered crossbow; two collapsible batons; ammunition; and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
