NW students complete Lakeland programs

Students from the Battlefords and throughout the Northwest were among 600 earning credentials at the Lakeland College convocation ceremonies June 1 at the Vermilion Campus and June 8 at Lloydminster.

Students from the Battlefords and throughout the Northwest were among 600 earning credentials at the Lakeland College convocation ceremonies June 1 at the Vermilion Campus and June 8 at Lloydminster.

North Battleford residents are: Diana Tucker, agribusiness; Kearstin Gagne, animal health technology; Britney Winterhalt, animal health technology; Ashley Cox, appraisal and assessment; John Scheafer, business administration; Greg Schmidt, business administration; Allyson McNie, practical nurse; and Brandyn Stynsky, heavy oil operations technician.

Battleford residents are: Jolinda Botha, animal health technology; Ocean Smart, appraisal and assessment; Keshia Caplette, interior design technology; and Layne Rumpf, heavy oil operations technician.

Shawn Delainey of Edam earned an environmental sciences diploma and Cody Cadrain, also of Edam, completed the heavy oil operations technician program.

Three Glaslyn residents also completed the heavy oil operations technician program. They are Gary Burgess, Leo Kuhmayer and Chayse McConnell.

Rachel Bronstein of Turtleford completed the environmental sciences program and Robin Albert, also of Turtleford earned an esthetician diploma.

Two Maidstone residents, Nicholas Lundquist and Logan Wiltermuth, completed the heavy oil operations technician program. Erika Flegel, also of Maidstone, has qualified as a practical nurse.
